The North Face Frontier Freeride World Qualifier events kicked off today at Queenstown’s The Remarkables ski area. A heavy hitting field of 80 skiers and snowboarders enjoyed calm conditions and blue skies as they battled for top scores on the course venue in Shadow Basin.

From August 22 to August 27, the venues will be buzzing with freeride skiers and snowboarders who have travelled from far and wide on the hunt for Freeride World Qualifier points.
