Officially launched in January 2014, the RDS is the most comprehensive, global, third-party certified animal welfare and traceability standard for down and feathers available for use by any company. The North Face initially committed to include 100 percent certified responsible down in all retail and wholesale down products by Fall 2017, and was able to achieve the increase a year sooner than anticipated.
On Sunday afternoon, Australian runner Joe Ward will complete his 12-day, record breaking run from Brisbane to Sydney. That's more than two marathons a day, every day, for 12 days. And, he's running it all without talking.
Following some great successes in a few shorter distance races in New Zealand, including a third place at The Shotover Moonlight Marathon, and a win at The Hillary 34km option, Andrius Ramonas crossed the ditch to step into the 100km arena at the Ultra-Trail Australia in May.
