Nearly 400 hundred runners left it all on the trail for the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run. For the second year in a row, The North Face athletes Rob Krar and Seth Swanson took home first and second place. Reigning champ and TNF athlete, Stephanie Howe fought hard for a strong third place finish. Our own local athlete, Andrew Tuckey pushed through to a 9th place finish, taking with him a guaranteed entry for next year's race. Read his race report here, and his goals for next year's WSER.

Local rock climber Angie Scarth-Johnson, 11, of the Blue Mountains, NSW has joined the Australia and New Zealand athlete team. Angie joins a strong team of local athletes as the first female climber, and certainly the youngest in all disciplines. She brings with her a passion for the outdoors and exploration, and a hope to inspire other young climbers to follow their dreams.

Where do you go to get inspired? To learn about what Australian and New Zealand top athletes are up to? To conjure grand plans for your next adventure? To share stories of exploration and the human will? The answer – right here.

We invite you to join us in enriching lives with stories of the outdoors, told through imagery, videos, athletes and events that we support, and the greater outdoor community of Australia and New Zealand.
