WINTER TRAINING

June and July will see alot of riding and running with conditioning needed for the up coming Duathlon season. I'm actually looking forward to having a break from 100km + weeks of running.

I find the hardest transition is speed, trying to get the legs back to 15kph, alot of sprint work around the Tan. Back on the bike is not so bad, just peddle hard and suck in the co2.

The next ultra probably won't be till November, the 'Tatura 200' (100km road run).

Can I share this with you, getting up at 5.00am in Melbourne during the Winter is hard work, I reckon I'm highly motivated to train but some mornings I really struggle. I guess we're all only human.
